Returns from the November 8 general election show that Adman had 57 percent of the votes through Wednesday, November 23, to 47 percent for Ellis.

The District includes Lake Forest Park, Kenmore and nearby unincorporated areas.

Of the 13,512 ballots counted in the District, 5,697 had votes for Adman, 4,325 were votes for Ellis, 30 were write-in votes and 3,460 left the position blank.

King County still has 700 uncounted ballots on hand countywide, and will accept ballots returned for signature verification through Monday, November 28. The countywide turnout was 51.95 percent through Wednesday, compared to the expected final turnout of 52 percent.

County officials plan to release updated returns Monday and to certify results Tuesday.

Adman had led Ellis in the August primary 55 percent to 34 percent, with 10 percent for third candidate Stan Isenhath.
