The SCC Men's Basketball Team scored 109 points, but this time, it was not enough, as Whatcom Community College beat the Dolphins 118-109 at the Pierce College Thanksgiving Tournament.

SCC trailed by only 3 points at half, 60-57 but WCC outscored Shoreline 58-52 in the second half for the nine point win.

Whatcom out rebounded SCC 43 to 33 to secure enough second chance baskets for the difference.

SCC faced South Puget Sound CC Sunday at 1:00pm at the Pierce College gym in the 3rd place game of the tournament. SPSCC lost to Bellevue College on Saturday 103 to 83.

The finals of the tournament is an "All-Northern Region" affair with Whatcom Vs Bellevue and with SCC in the 3rd place game.

3 of the final 4 teams are from the tough NWAACC Northern Division.
