Evan Smith: Monday is final day to register to vote in the primary

New Washington voters can register to vote in the August 16 primary election through Monday, August 8, but they must register at the County elections office in Renton.

The deadline for previously registered Washington voters to change their voting addresses or for anyone to register on line or by mail was July 18.

Voters can register in person, on line or by mail for the November 8 general election through Monday, October 10.
