Community provides input on park strategic plan

Sunday, October 17, 2010

On October 5 and 14, the City of Shoreline, which provides parks, recreation, and cultural services to Shoreline residents, and by contract, with citizens of Lake Forest Park,  hosted two open house meetings for the community to provide ideas for their favorite parks, open space, recreation, cultural facilities and programs in Shoreline.

Over a hundred people attended, looked at the displays and had the opportunity to talk one-on-one to city staff before filling out the surveys and comment cards.

If you were unable to attend the meetings, but you would like to share your ideas, download the comment form and send to: Maureen Colaizzi, Parks Project Coordinator, 17500 Midvale Ave N, Shoreline WA 98133; or call her at 206-801-2603.
