Shorewood fourth, Shorecrest sixth in Wesco South boys’ golf

Shorewood finished fourth and Shorecrest sixth in the ten-team WesCo South boys’ golf championship Monday at the par 72 Harbour Pointe Golf Club In Mukilteo.

Max McKinley led Shorewood with a three-over-par 75 to finish in a four-way tie for third, one stroke behind the co-medalists from Jackson and Kamiak. Teammate Chris Babcock, finished tenth with a seven-over 79.

Team scores — Kamiak 378 strokes, Jackson 381, Glacier Peak 423, Shorewood 436, Meadowdale 473, Shorecrest 481, Edmonds-Woodway 491, Lynnwood 530, Mountlake Terrace 537, Mariner incomplete.

Shorewood and Shorecrest play next week in the Northwest District tournaments, Shorewood in the 4A tournament, Shorecrest in the 3A tournament.
