Wednesday, May 12, 2010

The SCC Baseball Team dropped three of four games over the weekend to Everett Community College. On Saturday at Everett Memorial Stadium, the Dolphins committed five errors in the first game and lost 10-0 to the Trojans. In the second game, SCC lost a heart-breaker 9-8 as Bryson Nakamura went 3-4 for the Dolphins in a losing effort.

On Sunday, Shoreline played its best game of the weekend, winning a come-from-behind to win 3-2 as freshman Darren Iseri from Lake Stevens High School pitched a complete game three hitter. In the nightcap, ECC came out in a bad mood and defeated SCC 13-1.

SCC is 15-19 overall and 5-15 in the NWAACC Northern Region. SCC plays Olympic College in the final series of the year next weekend. The final home game is 1 pm next Sunday at Lower Woodland Park.
