District boys soccer, baseball tournaments begin Saturday, May 8

District One tournament play begins this week for the Shorecrest boys soccer, Shorecrest baseball and Shorewood baseball teams.

The undefeated and defending state 3A champion Shorecrest boys soccer team will play Lynnwood in the first round at 6 pm on Saturday, May 8 at Shoreline Stadium. The winner will play in the second round at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 11 at Shoreline Stadium.

The defending 3A District One baseball champion Shorecrest will play Ferndale at 2 pm Saturday, May 8 at Shorecrest.

The Shorewood baseball team will play its 4A District One tournament opener at 1 pm Saturday, May 8 at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo. The top three teams in the 4A district baseball tournament and the top two teams in the 3A baseball and soccer tournaments qualify for State play.
