Upcoming weekend closures of the intersection of NE 185th St and 1st Ave NE

Street work at 185th & 1st NE

NE 185th Street and 1st Avenue NE will both be fully closed at their intersection on three upcoming weekends to complete wastewater pipe repair and replacement. 

The closure will be from 7:00am Saturdays through 10:00pm Sundays on:

• August 8-9
• August 22 – 23
• August 29-30

Please use alternate routes and plan for extra time to travel through the area. 

The recommended detour will be Meridian to N 175th Street on the west side of the closure and 5th Avenue NE to NE 175th Street on the east side of the closure.

There will still be local access, which includes Spartan Recreation Center and the Senior Center.
