What happens when community service, education, and international connections come together? 

Join us for the Shoreline Rotary Club’s August 19, 2026 hybrid meeting to hear from Moussa Sarr and Leoma James-Sarr, two community-minded leaders whose work connects the Pacific Northwest with communities and opportunities around the world.

Moussa and Leoma are known for their community involvement, education initiatives, and professional work linking local and international communities. 

At our August 19 meeting, they will introduce us to the work of Harambee House Global and share stories from its international projects in Tanzania, Namibia, and Senegal.

Their presentation offers an opportunity to learn more about how people and organizations can build meaningful connections across borders—and how education, collaboration, and service can contribute to stronger communities both locally and internationally. These themes reflect Rotary’s commitment to community and international service and to advancing international understanding, goodwill, and peace.
