Apartment Fire in Shoreline Friday morning August 14, 2026

At 04:01 Friday morning, Shoreline Fire crews were dispatched to an apartment fire in the 17200 block of 12th Ave NE in Shoreline.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire showing from the two-story apartment building. The fire had extended into several second-floor units and into the attic.

Crews made an aggressive interior attack, getting the fire under control, and making a strong stop.

Thankfully, all occupants evacuated safely, including their pets, and there were no reported injuries. The owner of the apartment building is working on options for residents.

The cause is under investigation.
