Nighttime lane closures of southbound I-5 and SR 104 off ramp planned for two Saturday nights

Tuesday, September 3, 2019

In order to establish safe work zones for Lynnwood Link Light Rail construction, Sound Transit's contractor will be implementing nighttime traffic controls.

These will include southbound lane and on-ramp/off-ramp closures on I-5 from 220th St SW to State Route 104 for re-striping and concrete barrier setting.

Drivers should expect delays and consider using alternate routes during construction.

If you are returning home from Snohomish county on Saturday nights - Sept 7 and Sept 14 - the off ramp to SR 104 (244th SW / NE 205th / Ballinger Way) will be closed.

Sept. 7, Saturday night into Sunday morning
  • SR104 off-ramp 10pm - 6am
Sept. 14, Saturday night into Sunday morning
  • SR104 off-ramp 10pm - 6am
Other southbound sections of I-5 near Mountlake Terrace wil be affected - more information here
