The City of Shoreline's big Celebrate Shoreline Festival is on Saturday, August 19, at Cromwell Park, 18030 Meridian Ave N. The festival is noon-9pm, with food trucks, multiple stages, and almost all activities are free.

In addition to the usual family stage entertainment, there will be a Culture Share segment on the main stage from 1:00pm-3:45pm.

Performers will teach about the cultural significance of the music and dances and audience members will have the opportunity to participate and learn a dance.

Performances will include:

1:00-1:45pm Hokulani’s Hula Studio sharing Hawaiian dance.

2:00-2:45pm Baile Folklore Colibri with folk dances from different parts of Mexico.

3:00-3:45pm JHP Cultural and Diversity Legacy, live band with drums and West African dance.
