Shorecrest girls play Saturday in state quarterfinal

The Shorecrest girls' soccer team plays a state 3A soccer match Saturday at Bishop Blanchet High School in North Seattle.

Shorecrest and Blanchet play at Blanchet at 1pm Saturday, with the winner advancing to the state semifinals and finals November 18-19 at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.

Shorecrest reached the quarterfinal game with a 1-0 first-round victory over Prairie of the Vancouver, Washington, area at Prairie High School Tuesday, a victory which raised the Scots' season record to 14-5-3.
