Animal Acres Garden Work Party

Saturday was the first work party of the season at the Animal Acres demonstration garden. We had an incredible team of Master Gardeners, park volunteers, Rotarians, and students from Shorecrest Interact.

The garden was cleaned and weeded and then compost was put in the planting areas and several areas around the park.

Everyone worked very hard and the effect is fantastic. We will continue with the planting in the near future. A huge thank you to everyone involved, including Starbucks who always provides the coffee.
