City of Shoreline proclaims Veterans Appreciation

At the Monday, May 16 meeting of the Shoreline City Council, Deputy Mayor Shari Winstead presented a proclamation of Armed Services Appreciation to members of the Shoreline Veterans Association.

This proclamation acknowledges the important sacrifices that members of the United States military and their families make to our City and nation to ensure freedom and liberty for all citizens.

This year, Armed Services Appreciation  Day falls  on  Saturday, May 21, 2016.  Dwight Stevens and members of Shoreline Veterans Association were present to accept the proclamation and invite everyone to attend the Veterans Recognition Plaza Dedication on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 1:00pm on the City Hall lawn, 17500 Midvale Ave N.
