Fearless Female Authors in panel at Third Place Books Tuesday evening

Sunday, May 3, 2015

Indie publishing company She Writes Press is bringing back innovative face-to-face author interaction with its first-ever national book tour this spring, stopping at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park on May 5th.

She Writes Press and Third Place Books will be partnering with The Hedgebrook for this event. This Seattle based non-profit supports visionary women writers whose stories and ideas shape our culture now and for generations to come.

The Seattle tour stop will feature authors Kamy Wicoff, Céline Keating, and Leanna Lehman as they take part in a She Writes Press panel. A special guest moderator will host the panel and guide discussion for readers, writers and people interested in the book publishing industry in a fun and fearless format.

7pm, Tuesday May 5, 2015, Third Place Books, 17171 Bothell Way NE Lake Forest Park 98155.

She Writes Press authors who will be at the event:

Kamy Wicoff (New York, NY) – Kamy is the founder of She Writes and will release her first novel, Wishful Thinking, a romantic comedy about a divorced mom of two who discovers a magical phone app that allows her to be in two places at once.

Céline Keating (New York, NY) – After becoming transfixed by a rock band’s lead singer, a videographer offers to film the band to gain a place on their tour. But when she steps out from behind the camera, both the band and her marriage are thrown off balance. Play For Me follows the power of music and mid-life second chances.

Leanna Lehman (Fallon, Nevada) – In Leanna’s debut novel, Vote For Remi, a fiery US government teacher is pranked by her students who begin touting her as the newest candidate in the upcoming presidential election. But rather than get upset, she decides to play along, and the outcome surprises everybody.
