RBCC church youth fundraise for educational camp in Arkansas

Thursday, May 28, 2015

In a complex world of nearly 7 billion people, how can we find solutions to the challenges of hunger, poverty, and environmental degradation?

In August, 25 Youth and 6 adults from Richmond Beach Congregational United Church of Christ will embark on a week long immersion at the Heifer Project Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas, where they will begin to answer this question for themselves.

Over the past year the youth have worked faithfully to raise the funds for the trip. The have written letters to family and friends, hosted a fundraising luncheon, held a garage sale and with their parents are hosting a HeART for Service Auction. Another option is a crowdfunding page at Deposit a Gift.

As they push toward their goal, we ask you to support them with your prayers, words of encouragement, and to consider a donation to the fund.
