With the grand opening of the Shoreline Haggen's store at 155th and Aurora (converted from Shoreline Safeway), Haggen will partner with five local non-profits, donating $1,000 to a single organization on the first day the store opens and 2% of sales to four additional organizations on four consecutive Saturdays.

John Clougher, CEO Haggen Pacific NW,  said “We have a long history of giving back to the communities we serve. We want to demonstrate that commitment as soon as we open our doors.”

Store Manager Don Williams helped to choose the first organization to donate to - the Boys and Girls Club of King County. The other non-profits will be determined after the community meeting with local vendors.
