The forecast is looking fantastic for this weekend – it’s a great time to visit the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden in Richmond Beach! We invite you to explore the KBG this weekend on one of our two upcoming specialty tours.

Dr. Art Kruckeberg was one of the founders of the Washington Native Plant Society and an early advocate of gardening with native plants. He planted a wonderful array of northwest native plants in his four acre botanic garden. Celebrate Native Plant Appreciation week on our Native Plant Tour, where you will learn about native plants and how to use them in your own garden landscape.

Native Plant Tour, Saturday, May 4, 11am-1pm, $10 per person.

Mareen Kruckeberg’s naturalistic garden design provides excellent wildlife habitat. Join us for an early morning walk with Master Birders / Garden Docents looking for birds while you learn how to incorporate some of the KBG’s design elements into your own garden.

Bird Tour, Sunday, May 5, 7am-9am, $10 per person.
