Meadowdale completes three game sweep over Shorecrest Friday

The Shorecrest baseball team lost a 10-6 home game to Meadowdale Friday as Meadowdale completed a sweep of its three-game series with the Scots after the Mavericks won Tuesday and Wednesday.

Shorecrest takes a seven-game losing streak and 1-7 Wesco 3A record (2-9 overall) into a game with Marysville Getchell Wednesday, April 10, at 4 p.m. at Marysville-Pilchuck High School, with junior varsity teams fromthe two schools playing at the same time at Shorecrest.

In the Friday loss to Meadowdale, Keegan Small and Shorecrest teammate Tim Swan both hit doubles. Tyson Maine was the losing pitcher.

The Shorecrest junior varsity took a 0-7 Wesco 3A record (1-9 overall) into a Friday game at Meadowdale.
