Alpacas at the Market

It's hard to resist their sweet faces and gentle spirits -- the alpacas are back this Sunday! And Pam Wilmot will have an irresistible selection of yarns and rovings for knitters, spinners, and felters.

It's the time of year when you can shop for pumpkins, squash, potatoes, braising greens and root veggies at the same time you'll find heirloom tomatoes, salad greens, pluots, pears and stone fruit. Try a different type of apple this week, stock up on jams, honey, coffee and tea.

Sweet Asylum Cheesecake

This week is the last day to get Sweet Asylum Cheesecake at our Market this season. But they'll be back at both Holiday Indoor Markets: the weekend before Thanksgiving and mid-December. This Sunday, feast on:

• Pumpkin
• Death by Chocolate
• Coconut Mango
• Salted Caramel
• New York 

The Friends of the Third Place Commons Farmers Market is held on the lower level of the LFP Town Center shopping area, at 17171 Bothell Way NE. From Shoreline, both Ballinger Way (mind the speed limit!) and 145th go directly to Bothell Way.

Market hours are 11am to 4pm.
