Shoreline area ballot returns slightly behind countywide totals

The ballot-return rate in Shoreline and the rest of North King County through Thursday was running slightly behind the rest of the County.

Statistics released throgh Thursday showed that 14.38 percent of Shoreline City voters had returned their ballots, compared to the Countywide average of 15.39 percent.

The 46th Legislative District,which includes Lake Forest Park,Kenmore and northeast Seattlehad a return rate through Thursday of 14.97 percent. The King County part of the 32nd District. including Shoreline and part of northwest Seattle, had a return rate of 14.96 percent.
