The Shorewood football team meets Lynnwood Friday, Sept. 7, at Edmonds Stadium after the Thunderbirds lost a season-opening game to Cascade at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Shorewood of the Western Conference 3A South Division and Lynnwood, which moved this year to the Wesco 4A South, meet at 8 p.m. at Edmonds Stadium. The game will follow a 5 p.m. game between Edmonds-Woodway and Mountlake Terrace.

The Thunderbirds lost their opening game to Cascade of the Wesco 4A, 20-12, Friday, Aug. 31. Lynnwood opened its season with a 20-6 victory over Shorecrest at Shoreline Stadium.
