City of Shoreline Recreation Guide Cover Contest Winner

And the winner is... “Celebrate Summer” by Melissa Whitney!

Ms. Whitney’s photo is of her son Carter playing in the sand as they celebrated the end of last summer at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park. She received the most Facebook “likes” and will be featured on the cover of the Spring/Summer 2012 Recreation Guide. Congratulations to all of the finalists whose photos may be featured in other City of Shoreline publications.

We received so many excellent photos and such enthusiastic community-wide response that we will feature this contest again for the Winter 2013 Recreation Guide! So keep your camera handy and poised to capture all of the great things that Shoreline has to offer. Watch for more details this fall.

Thank you to everyone who submitted images and took the time to vote in our 2012 Spring/Summer Recreation Guide Cover contest. The new guide will be available March 19 and resident registration will begin Thursday, March 22.
