A short Mayoral candidate forum was held at the LFP Rotary Club meeting, on Wednesday, October 12, in front of a crowd of interested Rotarians and LFP voters.

Bob Edwardsen was the moderator, setting forth the questions and handling the timing for each candidate. Before beginning the session, he called everyone's attention to the Four Way Test that the Rotarians follow in their Service Above Self work in the community and worldwide.

Each candidate, Dwight Thompson and Mary Jane Goss, introduced themselves and then the forum proceeded to the questions asked of each candidate with their followup rebuttals. The questions and answers were thought-provoking and will be of help for many of the listeners as they make their decision of how they will vote.

Next week, the club will hear from the six candidates for City Council seats. It promises to be another packed house of members, the candidates, and guests.
