Greg Wolfe Named SCC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Wolfe, a sophomore from Oak Harbor High School, scored two goals against Skagit Valley College on Saturday to lead SCC to its second win of the year. SCC routed the Cardinals for the second time this season, 5-2 at the SCC Soccer Field. SCC also lost 3-1 on Wednesday.

SCC is 2-13-1 on the season, 2-8 in the NWAACC Northern Region. SCC plays Everett CC on Wednesday at 4:00 pm. If SCC wins on Wednesday, they will pull themselves to within one point of Everett, who is in third place in the region. The top three teams in each region make the NWAACC playoffs. Everett beat Shoreline 2-0 on October 8.
