Kagi holds primary majority, likely to face Gagliardi in November

Incumbent Democratic State Rep, Ruth Kagi held a clear majority of primary votes counted as of Tuesday evening, with Republican Gary Gagliardi headed to be her general-election opponent.
 
Kagi held 57.1 percent of the votes counted Tuesday to 35.3 percent for Gagliardi and 7.5 Percent for Stan Lippmann, running as a Democrat after using a variety of party labels if previous runs for office.
 
The results come from King County ballots received by Monday morning and Snohomish County ballots received by Monday evening. King County ballots come from Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore and the Finn Hill area near Kirkland. Snohomish County ballots come from Woodway, south Edmonds and unincorporated Esperance.
 
Both counties will update results at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

I hope we will see changes in career politicians and get some fresh perspective in Olympia. It's clear things are not going well in our state for businesses and for the economy in general. Spending is out of control just like in the other Washington. I hope the voters will see that we need CHANGE here.
