What do you think about making parks smoke-free?

Tuesday, February 7, 2012

In September 2011, the City Council adopted a Healthy City Strategy Work Plan for Shoreline titled Shoreline4Health.

One strategy goal of this plan is to establish a tobacco-free zone in all of Shoreline’s parks and public sites.

To hear from the community about this goal, the City is seeking input regarding prohibiting smoking and tobacco use in Shoreline parks. Shoreline residents are invited to share their thoughts by filling out the Tobacco-Free Parks Survey.

For more information about Shoreline4Health or tobacco-free parks contact Management Analyst John Norris at 206-801-2216.
