Kruckeberg Botanic Garden worked in partnership with the Seattle Audubon Society as co-recipients of the estate of Kent Slaven, a long-time constituent and supporter of our organizations.
Together they collected as many of his prized and beloved horticultural treasures as they could in February.

As directed by the estate, we were able to keep what we wanted for our own collections and offer the remainder for purchase. As a result, we were able to raise over $1,500.00, for a total of $786.00 for each organization!
