Wandering the neighborhood - dancers and soccer players

Seattle Poppy walks the neighborhoods of Ridgecrest, Meridian Park, North City, and photographs the interesting things that she comes across. She has found deserted playgrounds, charming lawn ornaments, little free libraries, water for dogs - and the list goes on.

Friday was a bonus day when she walked by Ridgecrest Elementary in the early evening. She found what might have been a pickup soccer match - or maybe an organized team. The players just looked like they were having fun on a summer night.

From the Ridgecrest playing field she went to the covered playground area and found Spanish dancers whirling and kicking with their full skirts swirling around them.

There are so many things going on all around us. Unless you get out and walk, you'll never know the joy that is nearby (unless Seattle Poppy gets there to take a photo!)
