Hot and sunny for the Post 227 BBQ

No shortage of good food and good company

On Saturday 14 July 2018 The American Legion Post 227 held its annual summer BBQ. It was hot and sunny and we fed around 115 veterans and their families.

The Ames family band performed patriotic music through the afternoon.

We served hamburgers, brots, salads, watermelon, chips, condiments, cookies and water or pop. Jerry Pickard and Russell Greaby cooked the hamburgers and brots.
