Wanted: 11-13 year old male singer to star in Shorecrest drama production

This fall, Shorecrest High School Drama is producing James and the Giant Peach, a musical based on the classic Roald Dahl story and written by the creators of La La Land and the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen.

They are seeking a boy age 11-13 to play James, the title role in their show.

They will be auditioning boys for this role on Monday, August 28th. Audition times are to be determined and will be communicated to those interested in auditioning.

Ideal candidates would fit the following criteria:

• Dynamic performer, with a strong soprano;
• Shoreline Schools student;
• 11-13 years old;
• Confident, outgoing personality;
• Willing to commit to a rigorous after-school rehearsal and performance schedule from the second week of school through mid-November.
