Every police chief we have had since incorporation has wanted a real police station instead of the converted office building we have. Finally, after 20 plus years, it's happening.

The station is being constructed next to and into Shoreline City Hall, on N 175th.

This photo was taken at the beginning of the week. By the middle of the week, excavation was well underway and the site was a large pit, surrounded by construction equipment.

Drive by and take a look at your new police station to be - going west on N 175th you have to slow for the lights, anyway. Do a little rubber-necking!
