Bothell Way closed at 170th and earlier accident on 15th NE

LFP Police sent out a notice at 7:57pm that Bothell Way was closed and the power lines are down.
Remember that when the traffic signal is not functioning, the intersection becomes a 4-way stop.

Area affected by the power outage

The power outage map shows 142 customers without power in the red areas. Crews have been dispatched and the estimated restoration time is 12:40am 7-15-2016. The one customer without power on Shore Drive may be the only one reporting. It is unknown if this outage is related to the others.

SR 522 Both Directions - Update 8:23 PM : On SR 522 eastbound and westbound at NE 165th St (MP 5) there is an incident blocking all lanes. Medical Aid, Fire Assistance, and the State Patrol have arrived on the scene.

Update 8:30pm

An addition 262 customers are without power in Sheridan Beach. There may be others who have not yet been reported. Estimated restoration time for Sheridan Beach 1:20am

11:20pm update
Bothell Way is still blocked at 170th. Roadway detours have been set-up at NE 165th and Ballinger Way (manned by State DOT). Seattle City Light crew on scene attempting to get the power lines up and running. Unknown ETA to re-open. Check WSDOT website in the morning before you head out to work.

12:30pm Reader Rochelle reports that she saw a utility pole leaning hard and taking the utility lines with it.

Shoreline

Earlier at about 5:30pm there was a traffic collision on 15th ave NE between Ballinger Way and Forest Park Drive NE that was blocking all lanes. Aid and fire responded but there have been no official reports.
