What to give mom for Mother's Day - a stolen car

Shoreline police responded to a hit and run
and discovered one car was stolen.

Around 4pm Friday afternoon Shoreline police responded to a report of a collision at N 175th and Aurora.

Quickly determining that one of the vehicles was stolen, officers took one of the occupants into custody, but the other fled on foot.

Additional Patrol and Detectives arrived and located the fleeing suspect a few blocks away, chased him down, and arrested him as well.

Police comment: To top it off, this was a mother and son duo. What a way to start Mother's Day weekend...
