The Shoreline – Lake Forest Park Arts Council is sponsoring the Fourth Annual Edible Book Festival on Saturday, April 2nd at Third Place Commons in Lake Forest Park.

Get inspired by a book and prepare to create it out of edible ingredients. Bring the book that inspired you, your edible creation and a serving utensil.

This event is FREE for all ages and we would love to see what YOU create!

Register your delectable literary creation at  by March 28. Last minute entries will be accepted as long as they arrive before judging begins.

This is an all ages event and K-12 and Adults will be judged in all categories:
  • Most PUNderful
  • Best Visual Presentation
  • Most Creative Use of Ingredients
  • Special Judge’s Award
  • People’s Choice Award (voted by all present) 

11:00 – Check in. Bring your creation (along with the book that was your inspiration) and appropriate serving utensils to Third Place Commons.
12:00pm – Judging, viewing, and documentation.

If you want to come and view the books without submitting an entry, please come at this time. This is also the time to submit your vote for the People’s Choice Award!

1:00pm – All ballots handed in.
1:15pm – Prizes awarded! Did we say that there are more prizes for all ages this year?
1:30pm – CONSUME THE EDIBLE BOOKS! (with punch and coffee)
