ELNA meeting Tuesday - be part of the Parks plan update

The Echo Lake Neighborhood Association (ELNA) will meet on Tuesday, March 15, 7-9pm in room 301 at City Hall, 17500 Midvale Ave N.

Maureen Colaizzi, Park Project Coordinator and Eric Friedli, Park Director will be there to discuss the update process for the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan and get feedback from attendees.

The PROS plan creates a 20 year vision and framework to provide for recreation and cultural programs and to maintain and invest in park and open space facilities.

Included in the Plan update are three new components: pool feasibility study, parks plan around light rail station areas, and recreation demand study.

This is the beginning of the plan update process, which is expected to take 18 months.

ELNA includes all those who live or work in the Echo Lake Neighborhood.
