What if everyone read the same book?

The Lake Forest Park Library Advisory Committee is pleased to announce that Falling from Horses by Molly Gloss is the book for the 2015 Lake Forest Park / Shoreline READS program, marking the eleventh year of this community literary event.

The novel is the story of young cowboy Bud Frazer who, in 1938, escapes a family tragedy in Oregon and travels to Hollywood to become a stunt rider in the movies. Along the way, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with Seattle native Lily Snow, an outspoken and confident aspiring screenwriter.
