Shoreline honors its volunteers

Volunteers were honored by the City of Shoreline at a dinner gathering at Shoreline City Hall on Tuesday, April 14. Those attending were thanked by the Mayor. All nominated volunteers were given free passes to several dozen local museums and attractions.

Mayor Shari Winstead tells the volunteers how much the City appreciates the work that they do and the value of the work to the City.

Volunteers honored included leaders in neighborhood groups, members of City committees and commissions, and volunteer gardeners.

I hope the couple that is doing all the heavy lifting for ShoreDog were honored - I have seen them in action and people all over the city owe them thanks- if you own a dog or not, if you use the off-leash parks or not.
