Come to Metro’s community transportation fair at Bitter Lake on Aug. 23

King County Metro Transit is hosting a free transportation resource fair 3:30-5:30pm Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Bitter Lake Community Center, 13035 Linden Ave. North in Seattle.

The fair will have activities and resources for all ages and abilities, so bring the whole family and your bikes. Activities include free minor bike repairs, ORCA card sales, Metro Transit trip planning assistance, transit training for seniors and people with disabilities, neighborhood walking and biking information, free giveaways and more.

Transportation experts will be on hand to provide services and educational materials regarding transportation options in North Seattle, Shoreline, and beyond. Representatives from the following organizations and service providers will be in attendance: North Seattle/Shoreline In Motion, King County Metro Transit, ORCA To Go, Cascade Bicycle Club, Feet First, Mobile Bicycle Rescue, Seattle Department of Transportation and Hopelink Medicaid Transportation.
