April 1-7, 2013

A  - Person steals a car, hit and run collision, dumps stolen vehicle and attempts to steal a second vehicle, steals a third vehicle / Assist to WSP on pursuit - shots fired by WSP - N 175th and Fremont 4-5-13 at midnight (see story)

Arrest - cab driver reported a fight on Aurora, one individual had an arrest warrant from Mountlake Terrace

Burglary attempt  –  pry marks on door 180xx 3rd NE / Broke basement window 118xx N 203rd

Burglary - medication stolen from units at The Blakeley / Condo at 192xx Aurora / Items stolen from unlocked shed 154xx Corliss / Neighbor saw three people inside house and called 911 10xx N 167 / Pried window off track 8xx N 189th

Car prowl - gas siphoned from car 21xx N 147 / Owner alerted by email from neighborhood association about numerous car prowls 23xx N 147 / Employee's car at Drift On Inn / 161xx Linden smash and grab / Shoreline CC / 166xx Aurora smash and grab backpack / 18xx N 189th / 16xx 199th / Items stolen during car prowl 145xx Meridian / Six cars prowled on block 23xx N 147 - mostly got loose change / Gas siphoned from car 21xx N 147 / Backpack stolen from unlocked car in Home Depot parking lot / Laptop stolen from car at gas station at 175th and Aurora / During a car prowl, registration, proof of insurance, and bank statement were stolen 11xx N 200th /

Cars stolen  – Truck stolen from Goodwill parking lot / Attempted theft of car for sale 179xx Midvale / Metro Park n  Ride / Car stolen from Fred Meyer parking lot while owner inside shopping

Cars, found - Man in possession of stolen vehicle and tools N 196th /

Death investigation - 3 death investigations, 2 natural, 1 overdose

Drugs - Drug overdose, victim uncooperative when revived / Heroin overdose / Stopped driver with suspended license and found a baggie of meth in car / Female friend calls about man on meth who was behaving strangely / Drug overdose Rodeway Inn / Subject in vehicle in Goodwill Parking lot burning suspected heroin in spoon /

Drunk - Male found intoxicated and incoherent in secured courtyard of apartment building - sent to NW Hospital for detox / Drunk male had misdemeanor warrant from Bonney Lake, meet made at Kent for subsequent booking into Enumclaw jail / Driver picked up for DUI in Fred Meyer parking lot with 8 year old in car /

Family disturbances - Man toward wife and teenaged daughter / Male-female relationship, 4th degree assault / Man assaults roommate, police have to force entry to make arrest / Woman breaks up with boyfriend, he is enraged, breaks framed picture and cuts hand on glass / Male assaults female at Rodeway Inn / Couple with long history of DV and threats

Larceny, businesses –  Sears / Radio Shack / Aurora Safeway, alcohol / Two people steal from Marshalls while teenaged getaway driver waits outside / Man with "red tag" from Interpol arrested stealing camera from Costco / Alcohol from Central Market

Larceny, Private -  Employee at Club Hollywood had her phone stolen at work / iPhone stolen at Rec Center on Fremont / Man parked car by Petco at Aurora Village. When he returned from work, car was gone. Found near Costco gas pumps with items missing. / Unknown entered secure apartment garage to steal car stereo 15xx N 148 /

Mail theft - none reported

Mental issues - Person on street, hallucinating, taken to NW Hospital / Police track down Kirkland man who made suicide threats / Suicidal male in possession of 5 stolen rifles / 3 other suicide attempts

Public urination - Indecent exposure and public urination 199th and Aurora / Public urination at Arco 147th and 17th NE, man ran from police /

SOAP (stay out of areas of prostitution)  - picked up individual running across Aurora at 175th, found to be in violation of SOAP order /

Suspicious - Man unknown to her enters woman's apartment through unlocked front door / Man with binoculars in car near home of woman who has a protection order against him

Threats - Woman receives phone threats from homeless man she allowed to stay in her apartment for 2.5 weeks /

Trespassed from  -  Rodeway Inn / Aurora Village Starbucks / Violation of Trespass order from AV Starbucks

Vandalism - Door kicked in at Family Health Care / Car window damaged at Newcastle Apts / Tires slashed on car in St. Luke's parking lot /

Z - Man, girlfriend, their 5 month old baby found camping out at RB Park, third time, 40 degree weather. Man arrested, woman and baby given ride to her mother's home.

Seems like there are a lot of thefts at The Blakeley - are residents leaving their doors unlocked, or does someone have a master key? With all the vacancies I've seen advertized, this really doesn't look good.
