King County will have primary voters’ pamphlet although State won’t

King County homes will get primary voters’ pamphlets, even though the State won’t sponsor pamphlets statewide.

County elections spokeswoman Kim van Ekstrom said Thursday that County officials are working now on the pamphlets, which officials will mail at about the time that ballots go into the mail July 18.

King and many other counties are paying for the pamphlets although the State is not.

This is the message I sent to King County Elections on Saturday:

Thank you so very much!

I'm glad, for the sake of the judicial candidates, that King County Elections is publishing a Voters Pamphlet. It is worth every single penny of taxpayers' money that will be spent on this.
