Clothing racks from the winter event

Michelle Steele Simpson, 1996 graduate of Shorewood High School, will be organizing the summer Bumps and Babies Fair for August 20-21, 2011, at the Bitter Lake Community Center Annex.

The Annex is located behind Broadview Thomson Elementary, 13040 Greenwood Avenue N, Seattle, WA 98133.

The Bumps and Babies Fair is a twice yearly boutique and consignment event in Seattle for baby related goods and clothing - an important resource when one considers that babies can grow into a new size every three months.

Michelle says, "Find great deals on thousands of new and gently used consignment items including children's and maternity clothing, accessories, strollers, toys, books, gear, furniture and much more!

"There's still time to get involved! Visit our website to learn more and to sign up as a consignor or a volunteer."

You can shop the boutique tables where talented local moms will be offering high-quality, creative, handmade items. Among them you'll find:
  • The Chic Bambino
  • J.Shelton Photography
  • Pepperjack Home
  • Tiny Toppers
  • and many more...
If you (or anyone you're close to) have kids, this is an event you'll want to check out.

Consignors and volunteers have access to a Private Pre-sale on Saturday, August 20, from 2:00-4:30pm.

Baby equipment, seats, toys
Public sale hours are:
  • Saturday, August 20, 5:00-8:00pm
  • Sunday, August 21, 10:00am-5:00pm
Know before you go:
  • Bring shopping bags (or a laundry basket!) as we will not have these available.
  • Cash is much preferred to expedite the long lines, but we will accept major credit cards. No checks, please.
  • Sales tax is applied.

Children are welcome but be warned that the space gets very crowded and the lines can be very long.
