Misoneism plays at the 2010 Youth Jam
Established by the Richmond Beach Community Association in 2008, YOUTH JAM 2011 is now a Shoreline-wide event.

Rock Bands, Pop Singers, Hip-Hop Groups, Vocal Groups, Accordion Players, Jazz Combos, Soloists, DJ’s, Beat-Boxers and all musicians, this is your chance to perform on stage and vie for prizes.

Shoreline youth, 18 or younger, with musical aspirations, are invited to compete in the third annual “Shoreline Youth Jam.”

This year’s event, organized and sponsored by multiple neighborhood groups in Shoreline, will take place Friday, March 4, 6 to 9:30 pm, at the Shoreline Community College PUB.

The contest will feature a live audience, professional sound, and constructive feedback by judges from the music industry. Performers will be arranged into showcase segments (2-3 songs) and prizes will be awarded in several categories.

Entrants to the YOUTH JAM are asked to submit information about their act, a recorded sample of their performance, and a $20 entrance fee (hardship exemption available) by the February 16, 2011 deadline, to be considered for the show. For more details or to submit material, please contact Scott

Tickets for the show will be sold at the door for $2 and refreshments will be sold inside from the PUB Chartwells Espresso and Deli. A limited number of free tickets will be provided to each participant for family and friends.
