Aurora construction - in brief

Here's a summary of what you can expect to see on Aurora this week. Don't forget that the businesses are still open,  This week, crews will:
  • Complete steel beam installation at the retaining wall on Aurora north of N 185th Street and begin excavation for further construction.
  • Continue installing underground utility vaults, communications lines, and the joint utility trench on the west side of Aurora north of N 175th Street. Access to N 182nd Street will be closed during the day most of this week.
  • Continue preparations to convert power to underground systems on N 175th Street.
  • Begin installing underground utility connections to businesses on the east side of Aurora and continue work on the west side of Aurora.
  • Install a water line on Aurora north of N 185th Street. One southbound lane on Aurora will be closed during this night work.
  • Continue forming sidewalks and driveways as weather allows.
Many construction activities are weather-dependent.
