Correction: Shorecrest boys play at Oak Harbor Tuesday a week after 58-41 home victory over Everett

The Shorecrest boys’ basketball team takes a 6-1 Wesco 3A record (7-4 overall) into a game at Oak Harbor (4-4 Wesco 3A, 4-8 overall) Tuesday, a week after a 58-41 home victory over Everett.

Shorecrest and Oak Harbor meet at 7:15, with the junior varsity and “C” games at 5:40.

In Shorecrest’s 58-41 victory over Everett, the Scots led 19-8 after the first quarter, 31-15 at halftime and 45-24 after three quarters before easing to victory in the final period. Colin Shands led Shorecrest with 17 points. Junior Chibuogwu, who scored 9 points against Everett, leads the Scots in season scoring with 186 points in 11 games for an average of 16.9 points per game.
