At 9:30am Friday morning the USA John C Stennis passed through a smoke filled sound, destination not reported.
CVN 74 is the seventh Nimitz - class nuclear powered supercarrier. Bremerton is her home port. Maybe this is only a short exercise; perhaps it is a longer mission.
