Arlington's balanced scoring is too much for SC girls

Saturday, December 13, 2014

ARLINGTON      13   19   11   19   62
SHORECREST     6    11    7    14   38

The Shorecrest girls basketball team proved to be generous hosts Friday night in a 62-38 home loss against Arlington.

The Scots' 34 turnovers against the methodical Eagles proved too much to overcome, as did the Eagles' ridiculously balanced scoring. All eleven players scored for Arlington, led by Gracie Casteneda's 12 points, on four 3-pointers.

Shorecrest, on the other hand, got scoring from only four players. Worrie Njadoe had 14, Jazzlyn Owens 11, Julia Strand 7, and Sheridan Stephenson 6.
