3A Shorecrest girls play host to 2A Sultan Monday after road loss to 4A Kamiak Friday

The Shorecrest girls' basketball team takes a 0-1 record into a home game with class 2A Sultan Monday after the 3A Scots lost a 46-35 road game to 4A Kamiak Friday.

Shorecrest and Sultan meet at 7:15 p.m. Monday at Shorecrest High School, with junior varsity teams from the two schools playing at 5:40pm.

Sultan had a 0-2 record after losses to 2A Sedro Woolley and 3A Mountlake Terrace going into a Saturday home game with 4A Cascade Saturday

After the Monday home meeting with Sultan, the Scots play host to 4A Snohomish Wednesday before opening Western Conference 3A play at Shorewood Saturday, Dec. 8.

The Shorecrest junior varsity has a 1-0 record after defeating Kamiak, 39-36, at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo Friday.

In Shorecrest's varsity loss at Kamiak, Kamiak led 11-6 after the first quarter, 25-15 at halftime and 34-28 after three quarters before extending the final margin to 46-35. Lindsey Shattuck led the Scots with 10 points.
