12 year old Shoreline girl sexually assaulted by intruder

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, at about 3:30am on Sunday morning, December 4, 2011, an unidentified suspect entered an apartment in the 200 block of Whitman Avenue North in Shoreline. Once inside, the suspect sexually assaulted a 12 year old girl.
The victim was asleep and awoke to the man in her room. The victim’s mother came home during the assault and the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30’s, approximately 5’10” with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white and blue shirt with horizontal stripes and dark jeans.

This is horrible! That poor girl and her family. Has anyone checked on the sex offender that just moved to 200th and Aurora???
